2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG: Sub 4-Second 0-60 and Sexy

As the famous Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMg Black Series debuted a while back, here comes the new model to the family: The all-new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 Roadster. Take the dose of its V-12 engine with 621 HP and 738 lb-ft of torque! Read more below.

Exterior: In order to tell the difference between other roadsters, Mercedes-Benz has given the new SL65 AMG through a wider front bumper, horizontal LED running lights, dual air grills, and a lot of chrome. You will also get unique badges on each side, along with 19 inch rims, a new rear spoiler, and shiny exhaust tips.

Interior: Same interior as always, nothing new from the previous model. You still get the glass roof, Airscarf neck-heating, Bang and Olufsen sound, and heated and ventilated seats.

Power: Power is now coming from the 6.0 liter V-12 engine, punching out 621 HP and 738 lb-ft of torque. HP is up from last year’s 604 HP. The twin turbochargers are now rated at 22 PSI, will help provide the power without the lag. 0-60 times come in at 3.9 seconds. The new transmission, the 7-speed automatic, has four settings: Controlled Efficiency, Sport, Sport Plus, and Manual. Top speed is limited to 186 MPG, but this car is definitely capable of the 200 mark. MPG’s are at 13/19 MPG city/highway.

Pricing: You might have to pay a pretty penny to get this roadster. Specific pricing hasn’t been revealed, but expect it to start at $200,000, with options going up to 1/4 of a million. Expect it to go on the showroom floor in November of this year.

Competition will be from Corvette ZR1 performance-wise, but otherwise the Ferrari California has to be worried with the luxury/performance combination.
