Anything special about it?: My grandfather and i bought the car as a project and we did a complete restoration on it together. we did all of the work ourselves exept for paint. the car is a an all original numbers matching car. it has the factory 327 ci motor in it along with the muncie m20 4 speed with factory hurst linkage. it also has the orginal 12 bolt rear end out back. it has the original interior and the car came with a lot of options on it. it has ps, pb, tilt column, wood wheel, rear window defogger, rally sport trim, super sport trim, consle with gauges, sholder harness. this car took 7 years to finish but it came out better than i thought it would.
i have also found out that this is what is a called an L30/M20 camaro or otherwise called the Phantom Super Sport. in 1968 the smallest motor you could get in a ss car was a 350, but if you knew the option sheet well enough you could oreder a 327ci/275hp camaro and get all of the same suspension and performance upgrade like a ss 350 car. my car is one of these cause it still has all of the original pieces on the car and they have never been removed.
Performance #’s (if known):
327 ci factory 275 hp now has 350 hp with a 350 cam and z28 heads and aluminum intake.

Anything special about it?: Rebuilt 4G63T, 16g turbo, FMIC, apexi exhaust, HKS bov, 550cc injectors, Injen intake, Apexi fc commander and much more. My 2nd car I’ve purchased ever. Put a lot of money into it just to keep it running at top performance. Has the scaled DSM logo cut into the hood (done by previous owner; really mixed feelings about it). Fast and fun car to drive daily. I get a lot compliments wherever I go.

Anything special about it?: K&N CAI, Magnaflow Cat-backs, Rear bumper from ’05 GTO w/ split exhaust ports, wheels, tint.
Coming soon?: TSP MagicStick 4 Cam, Valve springs, pushrods. Pacesetter headers. Wing delete.
I have wanted a GTO since they were announced in 2003 or whatever. After numerous weight-dropped and stripped tuners, I finally settled into a comfortable, quick car i absolutely love. The powerband is smooth, the sound makes your heart beat, and beating ricers is priceless. I love this car because it represents getting something that you want, not need. All of my life, I have had to settle for what fit at the time, and I finally have what i want. Driving with the windows down on summer nights in my baby is one of the greatest feelings I’ve ever experienced.
I know everyone harps on the ’04 because of the lack of power and the looks, but the thing I like the most about them is the looks. To me, the GTO is a sleeper, and you can’t have a sleeper with huge hood intakes. That’s why the wing delete is coming soon, because I’d like to keep it as anonymous as possible.

Anything special about it?: Lots of special things about this truck. 1st was when I got this truck I needed a truck that could do a mans job and yet not be to nice because it needed to be a work truck that was going to be used for rough pulling of logs and hauling a very heavy payload as well as ofter being stuck with other weather hazards like rain and snow on top of living in the mountains of western North Carolina. At first glance you may be fooled by her good looks that she is just some hunk of junk but may I remind you that this little baby right here has less mileage then most of the previously listed ones on this forum as well as packing the power of a Mopar 360 ci 4wd with granny gear. Monster axles military tires and lots of dings and dents so you will never feel any guilt putting her to work. Special custom crylon camo paint by me (which reminds me she needs a few touch ups). After market custom made hillbilly dash came pre-installed as this was a work truck a long time before I got her. I have to love it though because it added so much more room for my own tools so its staying!! I may one day add a new hardwood door to spiff it up instead of the plywood one it has. Another fine hillbilly custom addition is my unique angle iron rear bumper. This device is used for those times when you can’t get a tether under your log or there is an item to big to move by hand that needs to be moved also removes rooted trees very very handy!

Anything special about it?: This car started life as a sad rental car. After the first 30,000miles she was sold to a dealership where I found her after my Sentra was totaled when a teenager driving her dad’s SUV rear ended it while I was at a stoplight. I’ve taken every worn part as an opportunity for upgrading. Being a non-turbo Lancer that needed to be reliable (I got it in college) I’ve focused mainly on making the handling as go kart-like as possible, freeing up the little horsepower it came with, and increasing response. I took the Honda cars of the Japanese tuner Spoon as inspiration in keeping everything as balanced as possible. I can drive this at nearly 10/10ths on the road and not really be breaking the law. I was going to sell her once everything was fixed to pay off some debt, but I can’t seem to put my mind to rest with that. This is a pretty unique car in the Tampa Bay area, so it may be sticking around my garage for a while.
P.S. I just looked at your blog and, I use the same wordpress theme on my recently created car blog Hoon Art (hoonart.wordpress.com). Weird!

This old girl has been to hell and back, no really, I landscaped my back yard with brimstone! It always starts, without fail. People NEVER tailgate me when I’m driving this, I don’t know if it’s because of the smell or they’re afraid of catching tetnus from any of the many rusty sharp edges. When it rains the drivers feet get wet, it has a drain hole to stop the water pooling though. The driver’s door handle on the outside is stuffed (again) but since it started off as a bench seat you can just slide over from the other side. The rear suspension is heavily modified for brick work. ie. I am more worried about bursting the tyres than hitting the bottom of the suspension travel. The plus side to the suspension is when empty it lights up rear tyres like an Arnie lookalike convension.
I know it’s a dog of a car, but it just won’t stop. I have had 3 offers from random people trying to buy it from me in a year, ( i think one wanted it for scrap though?) I actually put a not for sale sign in it. There are many prettier cars on here, and many faster ones, but I’ll but my firstborn that most, if not all of them, won’t ever travel as far as this one and still be going 🙂
PS – it has been 2 years since this photo. . . . looks waaaaayyy worse now 😉

Anything special about it?: Not much special. I bought it after my 95 Integra was stolen, intended to keep it stock and use it as a daily driver, now it barely gets driven unless I’m racing it. After my autocross season ends in November, I’m planning on completely changing the setup.
Performance #’s (if known): 264whp/260ftlbs on a Mustang Dyno. Stock boost tables w/ intake, turboback (w/ high flow cat), and fuel/timing tune on 91octane.
The plan is to convert to e85 this winter, keep the stock turbo, and build around that setup. I hope to be around 400whp/400ftlbs, which is definitely a possibility, but I may need to look into other transmission options because the MR 6spd has a pretty weak 4th gear, that’s prone to grenading when on track.
